I am trying to reinstall some software that uses DirectX9, Premier pro. (I
have just done a clean re-install of my operating system). I can't get my
system to accept this file. I had it before(before the security pack 2
arrived, which I refused and continue to refuse) How can I get this file to
install? I get that message: 'Not software approved by microsoft: see your
administrator'. Is there a tweek that can override this? Do I need to install
some other security pack (I believe secuirty pack 1 is dicontinued) or some
upgrade?(preferbly not S.P. 2)

first off why the hesitance to install SP2 ? installed on a couple of hundred
machines here with 2 minor glitches, the dx prob sounds like an infection ? I
assume you are logged on as an administrator, if not you wont have sufficient
rights to install

there are no problems, just challenges
