My new job involves my work sending me woorksheets on excel, at first i
could not open them as i did not have the program. I now have excel but when
i go to print the pages it only prints blank pages. My printer is fine as it
prints other things, but not excel. even on print review i can see my work
but when printing only blanks. I have been trying to sus this out for a week

Dont take this the wrong way, but you did check that the printer works
with other documents? It may just be out of ink/toner

You would probably be better off with one of the MS Office newsgroups
for this, I've never seen excel do this. You'll need to provide them
with information about what version of Excel you're using, printer model
etc etc

Or you might try searching Google for this problem.

One thing you might want to find out is if this problem occurs
regardless of the simplicity of the spreadsheet - try creating one which
only has one number in cell A:1 and see if that prints. Are their
complex formatting issues with the ones you are being sent?

Usually either
-print area is not set correctly... fix by highlighting range to be printed,
then file/print area/set print area
-or-
-trying to print white text on white paper
