following appears when i start my comp always witha complete blue screen

security warning
a fatal error in IE has occured at 0028:C0011E36 in VXD VMN (01)
00010E36
error was caused by tojan spy html.smitfraud.c

system cannot fucntion in normal mode

please check security settings


ive scanned for viruses,spyware etc to no avail

help me to rid this problem and revert me back
to normal mode

You definitly need to update your anti virus,go to their website and do a
search for this virus.Most likely you will also find how to remove.Dont
forget to shut down system restore and when you are free and clean do a new
restore point and clean out ALL of the old ones.Then run the anti virus
again.
