I am an office outlook 2003 user, somehow i have enstalled outlook 2002 while
setting my computer up to use my PDA. This has caused office outlook 2003 to
not work.... outlook 2002 works (but says the operation failed every time i
kit send/receive), when i run office outlook 2003....

i get "The file connot be accessed because it has been configured for use
with a different mailbox" press ok

Then it has a pop-up "offline folder site settings".....

"file: C:\documents and settings\amason\local settings\application
data\microsoft\outlook\outlook.ost

encryption settings - no, compressible and high"

regardless of the choice it does not work and as such outlook 2003 will not
open

You might want to post this to the outlook newsgroup. Here is a list of

I've had this happen to some users, uninstall office version that came with
pda, repair office 2003 plug in pda and all should be well

there are no problems, just challenges

Outlook 2003 is not compatible with other versions of Outlook. Suggest
uninstalling Outlook 2002 and then doing a Help, Detect and Repair in any
Office 2003 application.
