Hi,

Right click it, choose rename.

Open a cmd prompt, run "ren <drive><path><filename> <new filename>"

Whichever works for you.

Hi Barry,

Right click on the file and select rename.

If the file has an extension such as .jpg do not change it. Just
change the text before the dot (.)

Example: old.jpg to new.jpg

Right click on the file, select the rename menu item or, select the file and
press the F2 key or, click the file then click it again (not double clicking
it), or open the file then File|Save As... then delete the original. If you
can see the file extension don't change that if you want to open the file
with the usual associated program.
