The Win 16 Subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOS |

I am getting the following error message on start up....
The Win 16 Subsystem was unable to enter Protected Mode, DOSX.EXE must be in
your AUTOEXEC.NT and present in your path.
I am a novice at best. I have no idea how to solve this problem. Can
anyone help?

Have you just begun to see this message?
Are you running any older games on your computer?
