WMM2 stops when saving file to disk - Please HELP

I have P4 3.0 Prescott, 512MB ram, 80gig HD. windows XP pro with SP2

WMM2 works fine when editing. When I save to disk, the program saves but
then stops about half way or so done. Just hangs there. I'm able to use other
programs and etc. but the program doesn't progress any further. I'm able to
cancel save as well.

What could be causing this annoying probmlem? I've tried everything I know
how. Please HELP!!!
