I was using Microsoft Office Picture Manager. I save some picture’s
to my Floppy drive (A:).
Now, whenever I open up the picture manager program, it tries to
access my A: drive since it is now showing up in Recently Browsed.
How can I remove my A: drive from the Recently Browsed feature of this
program?

Hi JSM,

Thank you for posting here.

From your post my understanding of this issue is: You want to stop
accessing a driver for recent files in "Microsoft Office Picture Manager".
If this is not correct, please feel free to let me know.

First I'd like to suggest you to follow kurttrail's suggestion. If this
problem still occurs, you may delete the file in the following
folder:"C:\Documents and Settings\{user}\Local Settings\Application
Data\Microsoft\Office\Recent"

If you are not able to see the folder "Application Data", please following
the steps below:

1. Double-Click "My Computer"

2. Select the menu "Tools->File Option->View"

3. Select the radio button marked with "Show hidden files and folders".

4. Press the button "OK".

Then you will find the folder "Application Data" and do what I suggest
above. But please caution that, the "Recent" folder contains all shortcuts
that you access recently in office application.

At last, follows the Office Expert's instruction, we strongly recommend
that please don't use office to access A driver directly. For your
situation you may save the picture to local driver first, then copy it to
A
driver.

Thank you for using MS Newsgroup.

Vincent Xu
