purchased plus! for extra video transtions and effects but they do not load
with moviemaker. Have moviemaker 2.1 and sp2 installed, uninstalled and
reinstalled plus several times to no effect. Please help

Which version of Plus did you purchase?
There are three versions.

Plus DME - contains extra effects for MM
Plus XP - no effects
Plus Super pack = Plus DME + Plus XP = same effects as DME

Hello,

I seem to recall others having the same problem as you. Perhaps some one from
Microsoft who knows what they are talking about will be able to help you
out...I think the solution was to make an edit on the registry....you could
always search back perhaps 6 months or so and look for similar messages to
yours.

Thanks for that, found the thread under heading "transistions and effects". A
matter of deleting a couple of registry entries and missing effects
reappeared in moviemaker when it was started again. many thanks once more.
