system tray network icons |

I have lost both my network and broadband icons from the system tray. I
have gone to Properties of these under Network Connections and the checkbox
for "Show Icon in notification area when connected" is checked.
How I can I get these reinstated?

Hi Jane,
Uncheck and recheck the box, this happens a lot.

I have checked and unchecked a number of times (and so has everyone else in
the family who doesn't believe me!!) . I also shut down every night.
Any other ideas?
