I have installed the SP1 and SP2 but the USB Ports are only recognized as

Does any of you know, what the problem could depand on?
I checked BIOS Settings as well.

Hi,

Yes, that's odd. Use the article posted by Rock to uninstall and reinstall
the USB drivers. Those ports should be picked up as USB2 by WinXP and the
right driver set should be installed automatically.

I know it because of the usermanual which tells me, that the ports have to
be 2.0
and i can see it from my external harddisk. its an 2.0 300 gb harddisk
drive
but when i connect it to my pc, a messagedialog appears which tells me
that a
highspeed drive has been added to my pc at an non highspeed usb hub.

My problem is history now :)

It depended on, what someone said, uninstalling the USB Hardware, restart
and reinstall.
After that i could use my fast USB 2.0 .
thanks very much.

Great, glad things are working and thanks for posting back with your
resolution. It will help others.
