Standby problem with SP2 |
|
|
Hi,
I just rebuilt a new XPe runtime image with a known working .slx from SP1
(updated all component to SP2). Somehow, the "standby" function is no longer
working: neither by pressing the power switch (per setting under power
option) nor thru "start" =>"shut down" => then select "standby". ==> system
will freeze. (the "shut down" is working!!)
Using RAM overlay, w/512 CF, EWF enabled, added Media Player 9!!
It was working fine with SP1 !! Any suggestion on where to look/check...
Best regards,
Lawless |

Hi Lawless,
Use device manager to check if all your hardware drivers are installed and working.

Hi Slobodan,
Thanks for your prompt respond!!
No flag under the Device Manager !! All devices are working properly.
Any other places to look ?
Best regards,
Lawless

Re: Standby problem with SP2 |

Hi Slobodan,
New finding, in fact the system will go into standby per setting under
"power option" in control panel if I leave the system untouch long enough for
it to go into standby!!. After that, once resumed from that, power button
works as it should (go to standby when pressing the power button). So is
the start" =>"shut down" => then select "standby".
Anyway to trigger this "standby" mode manually (same way as the "power
option") ?? Any components or settings that need to be added ?
Best regards,
Lawless
