DUAgent insists on running at startup |
|
|
I have turn of Run on start in the DUA component in TD, and have
confirmed that
HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Servics\DUAgent\Parameters\Config\RunOnStart
= 0, yet DUAgent still runs at startup. How do I disable the run at
startup feature?
thanks

Kevin,
That would probably be something like [HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\DUAgent],"Start"=4
Or disable (or set to manual start) the service with sc.exe or Services MMC Snap-in.

Kevin,
I am not sure about the Run on Startup disabled option but I always prefer to disable unnecessary services through the "Start"
value.
