How can I get messenger to use a different web browser than
Internet Explorer to open emails when i click "go to my inbox"

You should be able to have any browser on your system be the default
browser. Once you have another browser configured as your default, it
should open up when you go to hotmail.

Hi,

Actually it doesn't; Messenger will open links in the default browser, but Hotmail will open
in Internet Explorer exclusively.
