I can't seam to find the description of how to install service pack 2
from anything other than 'disk 3'. As i'm in quiet a backwater i'd
much prefer to use the online sp2, does anyone know where i can find
the instructions? |

ok update: i was using the installer downloader (XPEFFI_SP2.exe) and
after it had finished downloading the update it brought up a box
"click ok to exit" so i was always clicking ok, assumeing that the
folder i supplied would have the installer in it, but it never did.
So why is the correct input the the "click ok to exit" dialoge to
click on the X to close the dialoge (as doing that proceeds to the
installer with all the options (such as update database engine, etc)?
this is the weirdest installer i have ever seen. |

Gareth,
Did you see the progress during the install?
Did you see files being copied?
You can download the full install from https://microsoft.embeddedoem.com/ if you have access to it.
