subtitles from VOB to WMV files? |

I am converting demuxed VOB files to WMV using WM Encoder. I want to
keep several languages in the WMV file, and this works fine with the
stream editor.
There is no possibility, however, to do the same with the subtitles.
I'd like to be able to toggle between subtitles on and off while the
WMV file is being played, as I can with the original DVD.
I know there has been a few posts about this subject, but the problem
is specific here. I don't want to OCR the subtitles and convert the
SRT file to SAMI for instance. I want to keep the original subtitles
stored in the VOB file on the DVD and include them into my WMV file
(as I did with the language streams).
DVDX or Intervideo are not a solution either, since these merge the
subtitles and the movie permanently. No way to switch them on and off
afterwards.
