Nothing happens when I try to save movie |

Hi, I'm trying to save my first movie--nothing fancy, just one unedited clip
from my digital camera (saved to my desktop). I've saved the project, but
when I hit Save Movie, nothing happens. No dialog boxes even pop up, it just
says Ready at the bottom. The clip will play; nothing is frozen. But it just
won't do anything about saving it. I have a laptop with 4.5Gb free space on
one NTFS drive. The cpu doesn't seem to be overtaxed. It's just sitting
there. It won't save to email or web server either. Any ideas? This is really
irritating; I was hoping it would be a good program to use. Thanks.... |

Well, I tried making a movie just with two small pictures. No video, nothing.
And still, when I click on Save, or Send Movie To, nothing happens. It
doesn't freeze, it just does nothing. Nothing appears, no dialog boxes,
nothing. So it can't be a memory problem. How could it be having a problem
handling two tiny pictures? It lets me do everything else--save project, etc.
I'm using v1.1; I don't want to install SP2 because it's just too huge and
it just about killed my machine last time I tried it. Is there any way of
getting the updated version of MM without installing SP2?
Please help if you can!!!
