Remote Desktop on XPE - true color suported? |
|
|
Hi
I hope we can connect our product - DVR based on Windows XPE - using Remote
Desktop.
Now, I can connect through Remote Desktop, but it doesn't surpport 24bit
true color.
As I know, Remote Desktop supports 24 bit true color. How can I solve this
situation?

David,
XPe SP1 Release Notes: " For the Remote Desktop client to connect to a Windows XP Embedded Terminal Server at high color (24-bit)
add the HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Terminal Server\WinStations\RDP-Tcp registry key.
The default value must be changed from 3 to 4 in the Terminal Server Remote Desktop component."
Also,
