Best guess, it may be the XP firewall assuming you moved to XP SP2 as the XP
firewall is enabled by default in SP2. If you have a firewall of your own,
I suggest you turn off the XP Firewall, open Control Panel open Windows
Firewall and disable. Do not run without a firewall. If you do not have a
separate firewall, you would need to make an exception in the XP firewall
assuming it is enabled to allow for the port Remote Desktop is using.
For such port information or if the above doesn't address the issue, you
should take this question to the windowsxp.work_remotely newsgroup.

Has anyone run into this problem before?
