Hi,

After reinstalling Windows Messenger version 4.7 (4.7.3000) and I have
noticed that I no longer receive any sound alerts when a new contact logs in
or sends me a message.

I have checked the box under Tool-->Options-->Preferences "Play sound when
contacts sign in or send a message" and selected and tested the correct wav
file but
no sound?

I have spend a day trying to sort this out.

Does anyone have any ideas?
