Hi,

Environment: XP embedded.

Problem: When i click on network troubleshooter link in network connections
window (control panel-->Network connection) or help on any widow other than
IE,i want to pop up a message " This feature is not available".
I tried understanding how to go about but it appears that i am missing some
essential information. I tried studying registry but could not gather much
information.
I tried using a MFC file for the pop up but all in vain.

Please let me know if i can get this done in any way.

Loads of thanx in advance,
Maria

Maria,

You may want to take a look at the "Troubleshooters" components registry settings. At least you may be able to disable a particular
troubleshooter. (network - disable all the entries under [HKLM\Software\Microsoft\TShoot\TroubleshooterList\tsnetwrk])

To make you changes, though, I think you would need to modify the tshoot.chm. I don't know if it is legal.
