How to Change default keyboard language at login |
|
|
We have installed french version of windows Xp Pro.
Everytime that we want to login to the network, the keyboard language is FR
for french.
I know that a can just use ALT+Shift to toggle in EN english keyboard but,
is there a way to be in EN english keyboard by default ? |

I believe this is now controlled by the language of the OS unless you have a
keyboard with its own software that would cause it to default to another
language.
I'm not completely positive about this, you might want to do a search on
Google, www.google.com to see if you can come up with anything.

I just found the solution after, on microsoft web site article ID 138354.
You have to go in the registry HKEY_USERS\.DEFAULT\Keyboard Layout\Preload
"1" REG_SZ = "0411"
List of values can be found in the article.
Thank you !
