Help me please. I'm a novise trying to use movie maker.
When trying to capture video from my DV camera, in MM1 that has come with
my XP package, I get as far as the Video settings screen before a semingly
abreviated error message pops up saying "In interface has too many methods to
fire events from' when i close it and try again an unspecified error message
appears.
Often the whole lot freezes and then i get a message saying that the program
is not responding. I have no idea what any of this means but i'd really
appreciate any help.

Hi Ben,

That would be a normal thing if you are trying to capture MPEG-2 files using
a USB connection.... you should use a firewire connection to capture full
digital video - DV-AVI.

Movie Maker can't handle the MPEG-2 files.
