Dear Microsoft expert,

Recently, I have been experiencing a puzzling aspect of my microsoft
messenger.
When I leave my computer unattended for lunch, I come back to find the
messenger conversation window with a long list of people who seem to have
been chatting.

Often these are started by people who are not on my list. I wonder what is
going on here? I always feel violated when I see this. As I look at it, it
appears malicious. Please tell me what is it? Note I am an expat currently in
China at my office computer. It occurs at lightning speed and usually when I
am set to away

It may be a virus my friend. Try out
http://housecall.trendmicro.com/housecall/start_corp.asp and see if you have
a virus. It may be a cse of you having DCP enabled which means that you can
be 'attacked' by using a port on your comptuer (135 i think).

Try, going to Mesenger options, privacy, and putting 'All others' on the
block list.
That should make it so noone other than in your contact list can contact you

Check out http://messenger.jonathankay.com that should have something.
