Hi: I have a pentium XP Pro computer and my Mom has a
Celeron XP Home computer. She really needs a lot of help
(she is 83 and I give her credit for trying)as she gets
all messed up usiong WORD. I can't always go to her home
to help her and talking he through it over the phone
doesn't work. I use RCN for my dial-up and she uses AOL.
Can someone tell me if I should be able to offer her
remote assistance under these circumstances? If so, what
would be the easiest and most likely successful technique
to use? I have never done this before. I have service
Pack 2 which I read may be problematic. I don't know if
she has installed it on her computer yet. Any help at all
will me greatly appreciated. Thank you so very much, Ed
