I can find the ntprint.cat in my image. It is located in the
windows\i386 directory. In the Generic / Text Only component File
section I have changed the target to
"%SystemRoot%\system32\CatRoot\{..... and it installs there.
Although, I can change where the location of the file is being
installed, should I? What if Microsoft comes out with an update for
that file? Will I affect the changes by that update to that file
because I changed the location? Also, the Printer Common #1 component
is included in the configuration.

What MS update for that file you are referring to? New QFE or etc.?
Anyway, did the moving file to the CatRoot... directory fix your install errors?

No, it didn't fix the install errors. The error is the same. I
referring to the QFE when I speak of Microsoft updates. |

I don't have a clue then.
You didn't you show us the entire Filemon log, did you? I am thinking maybe there is some more information on what's been missing
from your image. Regmon'd also be useful in the analysis.

PS. Just in case, check if you have got the "RPC Server" component in your image.
PPS. That's been a long thread and I forgot what we have already asked you about. Did you try the printer driver on XP Pro and/or
XPProEmulation?
