I have a question regarding the installation of an active X component on an
account with Power User privilege.

I have an account that is a member of the Power User group. I read that
Power Users can Install programs that do not modify operating system files or
install services. Can power users install an active X component? I have a web
application that needs to download and install an Active X component to run
certain grid functionality. When the power user accesses the application the
page shows a red X where the grid is supposed to display. Does this mean that
the power user will not be able to install this Active X component? Is the
installation of the Active X component fall under the realm of installing a
program that modifies the operating system (hence the red X = the
installation is not allowed due to the permission setup for a power user)?
