I want to apply a folder's view to all of it's subfolders in Windows
XP. For example I want the "My Pictures" folder and all of its
subfolders to be "Thumbnail" view, and I want the "My Music" folder
and all of its subfolders to be "Details" view. I've got hundreds of
subfolders in each of these folders and doing them all by hand is
going to take forever.

I'm almost convinced this is impossible without some 3rd-party
application. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Btw, I am NOT referring to templates, but rather views. Applying a
template to all subfolders of a folder does NOT affect its view.

Also, clicking "Apply to All Folders" in the "Folder Options" dialog
only helps me a little. I have multiple trees of subfolders each
needing their own view.

TIA
