hey i need help!
I am using my SONY Handcam Hi8 to put it om my computer using my beklin usb
2.0 dvd creator. i connected the compostive connecter to the usb and my
sound card. but when i preview it the video is chooppy and you can see all
these lines and also looks like the picture is all in squares. also colour is
bad.
can anyone please help!!! if not do you think i should buy a fireware or
capture card?? are ther exspensive??

A firewire connection is for digital camcorders. You Hi8 is an analog one so
it wouldn't work.

Look at the comments on the Analog Video Capture > Belkin page of my site...
based on other users, it seems the Belkin USB setup is something that Movie
Maker doesn't work with...
