MSN messenger (6.2.0137) has been working perfectly in my machine
(win2kpro 5.0.2195 SP4 Build 2195) for some time.

Last week I downloaded the Windows Update suggested updates and now it
no longer signs in automatically when I connect to the Internet. If I
press the signin button it connects immediatly, but I have to do it
manually although my tools->general have the autosignin checked.

Also, the Outlook Express option to sign in works fine.
Any ideas?
