unable to use SATA disk after new installation |
|
|
I have a pc with pci card for controlling SATA-disks. I worked fine before i
made a new installation of XP-Pro. But when i started the new XP and
installed the correct drivers for the SilliconImage pci card. I still wasn´t
able to use the SATA disks. The computer sees the disk, but says that the
disk is unreadable and states that the size of the disks =0 GB.
Tried to update drivers, reinstall, but no effect.
When using recovery program, i can find the disks and see the size correct,
but can´t get any data out from them.
The only difference from my first installation to this latest is that i have
updated with SP2.
Anyone who have any suggestions to how i can get my disks to function again?
