Hey guys, I have a problem and I would appreciate this SO much if you could help me.

I recently got a virus, and took off all traces of it on my computer. However, for some reason I can't hear any sound. There's no audio icon in the toolbar even when extended, and in the control panel it just says No Audio Device. I know this is probably because of a driver, but I tried installing a Realteak AC'97 Audio driver from

http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=23&PFid=23&Level=4&Conn=3&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false#AC

Is this correct? I have a custom Alienware computer ( don't even get me started on all the trouble it's caused me) and I'll copy and paste the information about my sound... don't really understand it though..

Realtek AC'97 Audio

Can you please tell me what driver I need to download, or how to fix this problem?

It would be MUCH appreciated!!!

Thanks so much in advance
