Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could help before we potentially go and spend yet more money on stuff we may not actually need. We have recently bought a new home system which is running OS Vista RC1 and MCE. First time we have had a home media station so its been kinda a new experience getting everything working through it (still work in progress). The main problem we are having at the moment is that although we seem to have installed, setup and configured the PACE Set-Top box as per the guidelines in MCE (and also guidelines on redremote) we are unable to actually get the channel to change on the box.
We have the IR transmitter plugged into the back of the tuner card and the 'antenna' stuck directly infront of the IR receiver on the set-top box. When pressing the channel buttons on the Remote, we can see there must be some traffic getting through as three red lights flash on the set top box.
From reading red-remote i see that our box requires IRDA format and that standard remotes transmit in either RC5 or RC6. I guess the question i need to ask is if the 'antenna' from the IR Transmitter is tranforming the signal from RC5/6 into IRDA or if i have to pay an extra £30 to buy a separate transformer... Its getting a little frustrating now to say the least..

Any help will be more than welcome.

Many Thanks

Mark
