| Dont ask me how, because I have no idea but my D drive, which is an extended on my main drive somehow is now unformatted. Restarted my computer tonight and when it came up the D drive showed that it was unformatted. The thing is it was NTFS last night. I do have partition magic but I know that I didnt have it set to do something funky like that... Can a drive just unformat itself? The question is this though, is there anyway that I can save all the information that was (and still is) on the drive? Is there a way to reformat it, convert it or anything without losing this information? I have a bad feeling that I'm simply out of luck but I can hope. The only thing I did recently was installed SuSE Linux on another partition after the D partition, but the computer had been restarted mulitiple times since then without any issues. |
