Hi
First off, I take it you have 2 physical drives inside your PC?
If this is right, when you installed XP Home, you would've had a choice on whether to install it to your C drive or D drive. As you chose to install it to your D, your C drive still keeps everything on it, and automatically configures itself for a multi-OS startup selection.
As long as you have nothing important on your PC, format both drives. Then boot from the XP Home CD and install on your C drive. This leaves you with your D drive free to store data, and no OS selection to worry about at the beginning!
Hope this helps
