System Restore doesn't work |

For awhile now, I've been unable to use my system restore; Ive had my current desktop almost a year. I haven't had any major issues (yet), but it's nice to be able to use it to back out of small problems. Each time I've tried, it reboots with "system restore incomplete", no matter what restoration point I try, old or new. Thing is, i know two people with systems less than two years old, they have been experiencing the same problem. We all run Norton internet security, that's the only thing in common other than XP. I've tried disabling Norton, but it hasn't made a difference. Help! Any feedback would be appreciated.
