I'm using Windows XP Home w/updates. I was using my computer last night and was having no problems. I leave the computer on all the time and shut the monitor off. All I had running was the email, this morning the computer was off, and when I booted it up I had no desktop can't get into any hard drives, no emails except Gmail and there is literally nothing on the desktop and when I try to open my documents to look for a program to fix registry or memory its says current settings don't allow access, and when I click on the hard drive I get insufficent system resources and also other programs says not authorized.
Can anyone tell me what to do or how to fix it or do I have to reformat and start from scratch or?????????
