Hey all new to the forum. I have a very odd situation going on with XP Home SP2. On my desktop I have the common tasks for folders (Folder tasks, Other Places, details) showing on the left side of the desktop. I have no clue as to what I did to cause this other than boot the machine up! any ideas as to how to remove this??

nevermind, Just did a system restore and all seems to be well. for right now.
