System Restore Stopped Working |
|
|
After a failed uninstall of Print Master, not only can I not get rid of it, but now I can't get System Restore to go back at any of the restore points. I have tried everything I know, which isn't much, and just can't get it to work. Any help for both of these problems? I guess they are connected somehow. Thanks for any help anyone can give me.

Did you uninstall it properly via add or remove programs or did you go to C:\Program Files and delete the folder.
If you uninstalled it properly via add or remove programs was there an error message |

I always use the uninstall from the control panel. No error message came up. It just acted normal and just stopped and left the program in the list. I checked to see if the program had been uninstalled but it hadn't.I have tried to use the system restore, but it didn't work.
I tried to reinstall Print Master, but I get a message that another Print Master was detected and that I must uninstall it before I could install it again. I backed-up my Registry and run a cleaner, but this didn't help. I don't understand it and never experienced anything like this before. I hate to do it, but I may have to take a chance and delete the Print Master folder from Program Files. I realize that it could be dangerous, but am at the end of my rope. I downloaned a program that I thought would unstill it, but all it does is give me a list of all the programs on my computer that could be uninstalled. That doesn't help me if there is no way to unstall it. I am a little nervous about messing with the Registry.
Thanks for your reply. Got any more ideas?
