Yet anor long boot prob - 475 seconds |
|
|
I reckon this must be a record. After clean re-install I've got an 8 min boot problem. Done Bootvis, online scans (virus, mal, grayware, etc), varioius Mecahnic programs, X-Setup Pro (great utility),etc etc. Now I'm clutching at straws now, but in SysInfo under Error Reporting I have the following entry which I hope indicates a problem with theNIC(??)
The IP address lease 192.168.1.64 for the Network Card with network address 000C6E908244 has been
denied by the DHCP server 192.168.1.1 (The DHCP Server sent a DHCPNACK message).

Any advice greatly appreciated _________________ PeteW |
