For a while my computer (dell inspiron1000; os: WinXPHome) was pretty slow and everytime I ran a spyware blocker it always came back with nothing. I found it odd since I download a lot of things on here but never on my desktop which always seems to find 5-10 things to remove. Then I noticed I couldn't update windows. Or my blog. They all did a "loading" page for about 5 minutes then went to the infamous "page cannot be displayed". So I decided to re-install windows. Everything was great for about 8 hours, I could update my spyware blockers (that I hadn't been able to update in MONTHS) and I could update windows. But when I click my blog page to post something it goes back to the "page cannot be loaded" like before.
I emailed my blogging site about the issue I'm having there and they said I had a virus. However I have yet to find a program that finds anysort of virus/worm/whatever infecting my computer.
Was something not set right before I installed & still isn't?
