No programs after reinstall? |

Hello my name is jon and this is my first post here. I was wondering if someone could help me out with my problem? I have windows xp home and i had a problem with a Windows No Disk error message come up eveytime i started windows and then the computer would shut off by it self, so i reinstalled windows twice and non of the programs were installed both times..
Is there a site i can go to dowdnload some of the programs for free cuz i'm all about FREE things or can i order some restore diskes that have the programs on it. I restored my computer with the diskes i had made when i bought my computer it told me to make them so i did.
If more infomation is needed just let me know.... Thanks
