I just installed Windows XP home edition over the weekend. I use Mozilla Firefox as my browser. I have gone to tools>options then fonts and colors and put in type and size of font I want. Then when I go back to the web page I was on the font is how I picked it. When I close my windows and then come back later and open my browser the fonts are real small. I went back to picking fonts and even put in exactly how my husband has it on his. I get the fonts but the moment I close the browser and then re-open it the fonts have all gone back to real small. What is going on?

Mozilla seems to have problems with saving your configuration. Try reinstall it? (uninstall first)

FireFox had no problem saving my configurations on Windows 2000 or on my husbands Windows XP. If I uninstall it I end up loosing all my favorites. Right now we put in the old hard drive that has Windows 2000. Since I also was having problems with XP recognizing my mp3 player, just got frustrated with it and am using my previous OS. Thanks for your suggestion though.

In case you are only worried about the bookmarks, you can backup it. All Mozilla data are located at
C:\Documents and Settings\[your_login]\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\[xxxxx].default, the file which stores all your bookmarks is bookmarks.html.

Copy the file somewhere else before you uninstall Mozilla, then copy it back after the installation.
