Hi there ladies n gents, boys n gals!!! How life's goin out there?

I have my working pc which is on a network. i wish to remotely connect to my pc at work from home - meaning i can work at home using the pc at my workplace.

I tried PcAnywhere, GoToMyPc, remote access connection from win xp pro n got the same pblm each time>>>>> I dont have the public IP address of my pc at work. I have a static internal IP add at work which looks like 10.2.10.252. When using the remote access softw, i can't connect to the pc. Coz it cant recognize the pc on the server.

So anyone, pls gimme the steps to, first, know how to get my public address of my pc at my workplace. N second, how to connect to my pc using "win xp pro remote desktop access"???

Gimme some +ve answers pls a.s.a.p

You can use a website ( http://www.tellmyip.us/ ) to know your public IP address. But the IP address should be shared by many computers in your company. I don't think you can have a public IP address unless your system admin setup something on the server for you.

Thnx 4 ur reply. The thing is that I cant get access to external websites but only the intranet. Is there a way to bypass these restrictions to finally b able to connect to my pc at home pls?
