every time i try to open yahoo mesenger by double clicking, the little sign on screen appears for not even a second, and then it just dissapears. ANY HELP OR SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE VERY HELPFUL....THANKS GUYS

That is really weird. Did you try reinstalling it after uninstall first?
