| I downloaded a driver for my viewsonic monitor and now it wont show me a screen after xp is done loading? I think my resolution is messed up how do i change it back to where i can see my computer, without being able to see windows? |

| Boot the computer into "safe mode" and you can change the system configurations. |

Well I tried it in ever setting safe mode, safe mode with networking, safe mode with commad prompt, last known good configuration and normal... still a back screen start up... is this comp dead? help!
PS
I think i also changed the colors before the last time i had a good boot where i was able to any thing... |

| all that came up when i tried to start up in safe mode all of them is a bunch of file names.... what up with that? |

| You can't enter Windows even with the safe mode? The safe mode will ignore your monitor setting, if it fails to boot, then the problem may not be the incorrect monitor setting. |

| bios starts fine. safe mode wont, but when i launch any of the options i get a bunch of driver file names on my screen listing like crazy, except last known or normal, as i said produces a black screen i know my monitor is receiving a signal its just to low of a Hz setting this all started after installing a view-sonic driver then changing the colors and a restart.... which probably wasn't needed i just want to know what's wrong with the damn thing... |

| lol i cant believe anyone uses this crap..... so i make a dos boot disc.... boot up and theres commands to disable drivers and such so im tring it and i cant seem to leave the a drive....any ideas? does dos even work for xp outside xp? |
