I usually put the IE internet security zone setting to high and i Like to
find out wether setting IE internet security zone setting to high will effect
application that require update like Norton Antivirus liveUpdate which
download definition and other utilities that require frequent download?

I don't think LiveUpdate has a dependency on IE therefore it won't make a difference.

That could very well be the case for Live Update. Maybe I should have said
that if you experience a problem try putting the affected website into the
trusted Web Content Zone assuming the user does trust the publisher. ---
