I have a Sony Handycam DCR-TRV460. I have successfully transferred video
from my camera to my PC via the USB cable. After successfully editing the
video clips I attempt to save the finished movie back to Handycam. However,
I get an error message that I do not have a connection to camera. The USB
cable is connected and I have video streaming on, in my Handycam. Why won't
the USB connection work when trying to save to tape?--

the transfer to camcorder process uses firewire connections, not USB... you
Sony manual calls it iLink
