I am having the Digital Audio Service blue screen problem when playing back
recorded TV shows after installing Rollup 2. I could not find an updated
driver for my TV tuner driver which is a Conexant 2388x Tuner (Philips 1236
MK3), so I uninstalled Rollup 2 and everything seems to record fine again.
Does anyone know where I can get the driver update for this card so I can
put Rollup 2 back on? The system is an HP m1170n. |

Craig,
I have the same card on a m7060n and everything is working fine under
Rollup2. Which version of the driver are you running?

Well, mine are version 2.2.63.0 dated 11/11/2004. You probably still need an
update.
I'd sure try that first. You should be able to get it at the HP site.

The Conextant TV Tuner driver version is 2.1.57.0 dated 08/25/04. It seems
from other postings on this newsgroup that updating the TV tuner is what
cured the Digital Audio Service (DAS) problem. I experimented a bit more and
found that after uninstalling rollup 2, I was able to watch a recorded TV
program that was DAS with rollup 2. I wonder if it could be the graphics
