Install tuner drivers before rollup 2? |

My tuner doesn't find all channels...
I have a PVR500 MCE tuner card, but I have problems finding all the
channels. Shoudl I have installed the tuner drivers (I have the latest)
before I added the rollup 2? I built the system from scratch and I needed to
change HD and re-installed all. |

What do you mean you have problems finding all the channels? Did you select
the correct guide?

Yes it does, you'll need to manually add the channels your EPG doesn't grab
if you want to be able to tune to them.

Well, even though MS has launched MCE 2005, the Swedish EPG really su*ks...
Whatever I try, it does not give me the correct Program Guide. Trust me, I'm
not alone this problem. I'm a newbie to MCE, so therefore I wonder if the
downloded EPG has anything to do with how the MCE (tuner) scans for channels? |
